CARLSBAD COUNSELING CENTER
Carlsbad Counseling Center provides counseling for many challenging situations and issues. These are not limited to depression, OCD, marital and parental discourse, school and social issues and individual growth and personal development.
Not everyone that enters into therapy comes out of distress, many people decide that they want to deal with past issues or habits that they would like to not be a part of their daily lives. Some people want to deal with the anxiety or social issues that cause them to not be as successful as they might be.

For over fifteen years I have been in private practice. During the last eleven years I had been primarily in a not for profit setting in Vista,Ca. But I had continued to see private clients on a limited basis.Since December of 2009, I am now meeting the needs of all my clients through the CARLSBAD COUNSELING CENTER.
I also continue to see clients in their homes as needed and also on the web.
Fees:
$75 per 50-minute individual session.
(sliding scale is available on a limited basis)
Insurance
(I do not accept insurance. If your plan allows "Out of Network Providers" I can provide you with a statement you can submit to your insurance.)
Advantages when you pay out of pocket include:
Freedom to begin treatment quickly without waiting for approval from your insurance company.
Ability to select the therapist of your choice.
You and your therapist decide the length of your treatment without insurance policy limits.
Increased privacy that will not erode your right to confidentiality. Insurance companies require a "mental disorder" diagnosis which is often reviewed and could potentially preclude future health benefits due to having a "pre-existing condition."
Payment
Cash and checks are accepted for payment at the time of service. You may also pay online prior to your appointment.

Easy access from I-5 (exit Carlsbad Village Dr go west, turn right on Harding and cross over Grand into the parking lot at 800 Grand.)
From 78 west either transition onto I-5 South or take 78 west until it ends on Coast highway, turn left (south) then just after you enter Carlsbad, turn left on Grand and then left into the parking lot at 800 Grand.
I am in the C building upstairs, through the double glass doors.
You must have an appointment. No walk-ins, sorry.
