A bit more about me.
*I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have extensive experience in the fields of both pre-marital and marriage counseling.
* I also have certification in Parent Education, Child Development, and Expressive Art Therapy. Both talk therapy and/or the arts depending on what is appropriate for the individual's age and issues.
* I am a trained Mediator. Although I do not formally do mediation for the courts, I do assist clients in preparing for various meetings related to divorce, custody evaluations and other depositions.
*I work with men, women, couples, and families in all transitions and stages of life.
*I also specialize in assessment and crisis intervention, issues surrounding the transitions and turbulence of adolescence and also childhood developmental, educational, and adjustment issues.
*I have worked extensively within the Christian community and I respect all religious and spiritual perspectives.
I now work online and in my office to meet the needs of those not able to seek counsel or psychotherapy with someone that shares their spiritual perspective.
*For almost 20 years I have worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings. I am also a life-time member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
