Not everyone that enters into therapy comes out of distress, many people decide
that they want to deal with past issues or habits that they would like to not be
a part of their daily lives. Some people want to deal with the anxiety or social issues
that cause them to not be as successful as they might be.
I provide private confidential psychotherapy for adults and children, education and counseling in my Carlsbad office to those in
North San Diego County and via e-mail and phone consultation when appropriate.

Life Happens and when you want or need a therapist isn't always the "right time" . I am able to have your questions answered
or have an initial consultation within 24 hours .
This is in addition to in office therapy for individuals, couples, families and children.
Along with traditional Talk therapy to deal with the symptoms of depression, marital conflict,
anxiety and many other issues that arise as we learn to succeed in our lives, there are other options available to you while working with-in the clinical relationship.
* Expressive Art Therapy:
The role of expressive arts is used when the client feels comfortable with an alternative medium
to put a symbol, picture and face to the conflicts they are dealing will.
As a trained expressive art therapist and an early childhood educator,
I use the childs natural desire to use art and play to work through the more difficult feelings and situations that
at a younger age, most children are not able to communicate with only traditional talk therapy.

* Mediation and deposition preparation
I am a trained mediator and although I do not mediate for the court system I do work to prepare clients
for depositions, court appearances and other litigation meetings.
* Parent Education and Consultation
As a certified Parent Educator, Parent and Child Development specialist, in home and office consultations
and education are available. Behavioral issues related to the stresses of school or other emotional or
developmental issues affect the childs behavior. There are ways to navigate the more challenging issues
that arise for today's parents.

It is a short simple to read and understand reminder on how one should behave and talk
at home and with others. Along with the book is a small set of questions that compliment
the story and help prompt awareness of how to change and what each of us can do differently.
